Instrumental version of an original song titled "Come Back, Come Here" (a distant reference to Jimmie Spheeris' song named "Come Back"). It's about not really being mad at someone.
The song is formatted ABABAB, like many Native songs. Part A is mostly a running solo: metaphorically myself on my own. Part B is being in community with my people. For part B, I was inspired by Lionel Loueke, Victor Wooten's "More Love" & my background in percussion (esp. marimba).
I created the Minilogue sounds from scratch. For the lead solo effect, I aimed for a Tibetan bowl as the sound resonates out. Music is medicine.
